April 6, 2008Funny how Al Gore isn't ranting and raving about Global Warming when the upper midwest is hammered with a snow storm in early April! I think it would be safe to say that Pine River received 24" of snow in the past 10 days... On April 5th I photographed my first wedding of 2008 shooting most of the photos outside on a lovely 55 degree day, and then 18 hours later, bam! 12" of snow! It's beautiful, especially since the river is open now, and the snow looks so fresh and picturesque! Needless to say, we are ready for spring, ready for our road to dry up, and ready to turn off the base board heater!
